Desk mobile app requires permission to access your photos, media, contacts, files, and location information stored on your mobile device.
Desk Mobile App requires some so that you're able to chat with the right member in your organization and manage members' information(such as their attendance/status), upload files/attachments to your documents or take pictures of your products and share invoices and other documents seamlessly.
On some devices, DESK needs additional permission to send you SMS for the OTP so you can register yourself and use DESK.
A list of permissions needed by DESK Mobile App:
- Allow Access to Photos, Media and Files on Your Device (to
- Allow to Access Contacts (For chat/messaging and adding people to your organization from your phone book)
- Allow to Access Location (for attendance tracking)
- Allow to Make and Manage Phone Calls (for OTP)
Note: In case you don't give permission to any of the services for the application, you can always change the permission settings later. This may vary depending on which device and OS being used, but generally, in Android, go to Settings -> Permissions and in iOS, Settings -> Privacy.
