As mentioned in the previous article, a quote is a document informing customers about the goods, the number of products, and the pricing of goods without any transaction incurred yet. Using Deskera Books, users can now generate quote reports based on the time frame as they preferred.
Firstly, to generate the quote report in Deskera Books, go to the ‘Reports’ tab on the sidebar menu. Next, click on the ‘Quotation Report’ under the Sales section.
Deskera users can choose to filter the report based on the date range. Indicate the start date and end date and click on the Search button. Aside from that, users are allowed to filter based on contact code, quote number, and the status of quotes as well. Once you have clicked on the Search button, the quote report will be generated based on your selection.
In the Quotation Report, you can view the list of quote date, quote number, the validity date, the status of the quote, total amount, tax amount, exchange rate, the amount in the base, and the related documents attached.
To edit, share, and export the quote report, hover your cursor on the first row, click on the drop-down arrow. You can choose to view the report, share the report via the link, embed link or snapshots, export the file as CSV or copy the panel JSON to clipboard. The details in the quote report can't be edited as it is generated based on the quotes issued in the Sell tab.
With the Quotation Report, organizations have the information at hand on the number of quotes generated on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
