Freight charges are the cost incurred when delivering your goods.
For example, if your customers placed an order via your online platform, you are required to ship the goods to them. The customers will have to bear the cost of delivery charges.

Using the Deskera Mobile App, users have to create a new Product labeled as “Delivery Service” and mark them as Service and Non-Tracked.
If you select your tenant’s country in India, you are required to fill in the SAC code for this particular service. Tap on the SAC code that is applicable to your products. The tax rate will be auto-populated based on the SAC code.

When you are creating a Quote, Sales Invoice, Purchase Order or Purchase Invoice, you can add more than one item. Add the products that you are keen to sell or buy. Lastly, you can select the Delivery Charges that you have created in the Product Module.
Do note that there is no way you can change the tax rate for the delivery charges for the country in India as the product that is tagged to the SAC Code will auto-populate the tax rate. For other countries, you can only change the tax rate based on the default tax rates as shown.
